Research

The de Leon Lab at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center is conducting research studies on the relationship between bilingualism and brain health. You may be eligible if you are between the ages of 45-90. 

 Participation in this study includes: 

- Cognitive testing (memory/thinking and language tasks, paper and pencil tasks, etc.) 

- Neurological exam (with a qualified clinician) 

- Questionnaires 

- Optional brain MRI 

Please note, exact needs from each participant may vary by age bracket and current project needs. 

Our study is completed through a combination of 1) video and 2) in-person visits at the Sandler Neurosciences Building at UCSF's Mission Bay Campus. 
 
This information will be used only for research purposes. All of your responses will be kept confidential. We do not provide feedback regarding results unless clinical follow-up is required.
